Job Description


We are recruiting an Audio Visual Installation Technician to work in our London based installs team. This position would suit highly energetic individuals who are ready to get involved with the day to day running of a busy installations department. The successful candidate will ideally have at least two years’ experience in a similar role.

We are an established business based in Bounds Green, North London. Our installations department designs and installs professional Audio Visual equipment for businesses and venues. Our work includes anything from sound system installs for music venues or gyms to installing Audio Visual systems for businesses and hotel conference rooms, so you will gain experience a broad range of disciplines.

Our installations team are at the heart of our organisation and deal with dozens of enquiries each week. We deal with a wide range of clients but predominantly large companies who require sound systems and AV equipment for medium to large scale installations. The role will be working within the installs team alongside our installations manager to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a professional manner. You will aid with the system design process, create quotes and invoices, deal with our suppliers, ordering stock and working onsite with each client to ensure they receive great service. A strong understanding of sound, AV or lighting equipment is essential.

The successful candidate will be someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You will have at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
  • You will have a full clean UK driving licence with at least two years driving experience
  • You will have flexibility and be willing to work unsociable hours on occasion, due to the nature of the industry.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly
  • Highly organised, who can plan workload and schedule multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working with computers, using word/excel and using the web
  • Enjoy speaking to customers and understands how to give great service
  • Able to work under pressure at times
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written



Educated to GCSE level with A-C in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Educated to industry related degree level or equivalent is desirable


Audio industry experience is advantageous

Contract Duration / Dates
Minimum 6 months


Hourly rate dependent on experience
