The entertainment took place on two stages: an outdoor main stage and a smaller covered stage in a large tipi tent, with 15+ acts spread between the stages. The main stage was a mobile pop-up trailer provided by one of our partner companies. It’s incredibly versatile, requiring only two people to assemble, with built-in rigging points ready for quick and easy hanging of lights and speakers

This lovely boutique event took 1.5 days to set up with eight crew. First, we positioned the three generators and ran their cabling and distribution panels. Then, we split into two teams, one erecting the main stage, and a smaller team on the tipi stage. The main stage went together quickly with the only issues being the typical British weather and a generator cutting out due to incorrect phase-loading, and in the tipi tent we had to overcome a few challenges hanging lights as the rigging points were logs!

On day two, the event day, we installed the video wall, tuned the sound systems and undertook sound checks in the morning and, due to fluid teamwork, both stages were signed off in plenty of time. The program of events started gently with talks from speakers ranging from Adam&EveDDB employees who had volunteered in refugee camps to the CEO of the company. A strong selection of up-and-coming bands played throughout the afternoon and the evening finale was a storming set from DJ Norman Jay MBE who had everybody raving

This was the second year Hire Frequencies worked with the Adam&EveDDB group and what a pleasure it always is!
