SportsPro: Madrid

The SportsPro Media Summit in Madrid is a leading global gathering for executives, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the future of sports, media, and technology. The summit brings together industry leaders for two days of thought-provoking panels, keynote talks, workshops, and networking opportunities.

Our Role

Hire Frequencies partnered with SportsPro Media to deliver AV production and the fabrication of exhibition stands for the event. We thrive on projects where design, fabrication, and AV come together, allowing our teams to collaborate and create a cohesive, high-impact experience.

Our Production Director, Gareth Small, and Head of Scenic, Chris Dunsby, worked closely with SportsPro Media to bring an immersive experience to life for delegates. Behind the scenes, our logistics team ensured all equipment arrived in Madrid on time and without complication, enabling a smooth setup.

Across the two-day event, our dedicated team of AV technicians and fabricators ensured every panel session and exhibition stand operated flawlessly. Whether your event is in London or Madrid, our team consistently delivers best-in-class service.

International Events & Challenges for SportsPro

SportsPro is an international publication hosting events across the globe, from London to Madrid and New York. Our team was tasked with supporting each event while delivering a consistent brand experience for audiences, regardless of location. Creating this level of consistency across multiple international events presents significant challenges for our team to overcome whilst also ensuring we remain cost efficent for our client.

Overcoming Those Challenges

Hire Frequencies overcame these challenges by providing a consistent team across all locations, ensuring continuity and a high standard of delivery regardless of where the event takes place. We standardised equipment across all SportsPro events, guaranteeing consistent quality while eliminating the need for international sub-hire. Our diverse in-house team includes multiple bilingual project managers who coordinate directly with local venues and on-the-ground staff, helping to remove language barriers and avoid miscommunication.

Cost is often a major challenge for international events, particularly when it comes to scenic fabrication. To address this, all equipment and fabrication are managed from our in- house facilities in the UK and shipped internationally. This approach ensures both consistent quality and predictable, controlled costs.

The Outcome

Hire Frequencies played a central role in shaping the physical and visual experience of the SportsPro Media Summit in Madrid, leading the full design and build of the event. Working closely with the SportsPro team, we delivered a seamless and high-quality production across the two-day event. Behind the scenes, our logistics team ensured that all trucks and crew arrived in Madrid on time and without complication, successfully navigating the post-Brexit challenges of delivering events internationally.

International events demand excellence at every stage. From our warehouse team and logistics managers to our build and de-rig crews, fabricators, AV technicians, and project managers, every member of the Hire Frequencies team played a vital role in delivering a flawless event. This level of coordination and experience enables us to operate with exceptional efficiency while reducing costs for our clients.

The SportsPro team was delighted with the result, having reduced costs compared to 2024 while achieving a consistent brand experience across their international events. We look forward to continuing our partnership with SportsPro into 2026 and beyond.
