Hire Frequencies named finalist for Best Audio Visual Supplier at the Event Technology Awards 2026

We’re very pleased to share that Hire Frequencies has been named a finalist for Best Audio Visual Supplier at the 2026 Event Technology Awards.

The Best Audio Visual Supplier category recognises outstanding AV providers delivering high-quality technology and services across events of all scales, with a focus on innovation, reliability, seamless integration and the overall event experience.

In other words, quite a lot of the things our team spends its days obsessing over.

Putting our work to the test

Our awards entry focused on our work at Chalke History Festival 2026, where we were appointed as the new technical production partner with one particularly important objective: substantially improve audio quality and coverage across the festival.

That meant delivering full technical production across five very different stages on a 70-acre site, serving 25,000 attendees and more than 175 talks, debates and performances.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, our team built the audio solution around each individual space, combining different Martin Audio systems with advanced system modelling, delays, fills, cardioid subwoofers and sound-spill control.

Alongside the audio, our 28-person crew delivered staging, lighting, LED walls, video and recording throughout the seven-day festival.

The result was noticeably clearer speech, improved coverage and controlled sound spill between neighbouring venues, backed up by fantastic feedback from the organisers.

Celebrating the best in event technology

The Event Technology Awards celebrate the companies, people and solutions helping move the events industry forward, so we’re incredibly proud to see Hire Frequencies included among this year’s finalists.

More importantly, it’s recognition of the team behind the work. From system preparation through to the crews delivering productions on site, these results come from a lot of people doing their jobs exceptionally well.

The winners will be announced in London on 11 November 2026.
