We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Warehouse Manager to join our busy and rapidly growing event production company. We pride ourselves with our dedication, creativity and service along with a passion to put together creative and unique events. In order to continue achieving high standards the role of AV Warehouse Manager has now become available due to an internal promotion.

About You

You will already have a strong practical knowledge as to how an efficient warehouse process should function and ideally you will either already be a Warehouse Manager in an event production warehouse or a Senior Warehouse Technician looking to make that step up. You will have a good level of management or supervisory experience and be aware of the technical areas of event production covering light audio and AV. You are a natural organiser, someone who is very process driven, tidy, diligent and have an acute understanding of the deadlines and pace required to run a successful hire and production warehouse.

The Role

You will have the autonomy to make sure that the warehouse continues to maintain its high standards. You will be a pivotal contact between the operations and project teams ensuring that all kit is prepped, tested and ready to go to events in London and the UK. You will also be responsible for a small team of technicians making sure each person carries out their relevant duties, managing any additional hours required within the warehouse and notifying the aforementioned teams of any shortages in inventory. As a natural organiser you will be expected to ensure that all relevant processes are adhered to and that the in house stock management system is used to its full capability.

Pay: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year





Detailed Specification

  • First priority is to ensure all equipment is prepped and ready for delivery to or collection by our customers.  Working with our drivers and engineers to ensure all deliveries are carried out to a high standard and delivered on time and every client receives outstanding service. 
  • Secondary priority is the checking of equipment upon return to ensure it is in good working order, no accessories have been lost, and it is ready to be used on its next hire.  Working with the office staff to invoice clients for any missing or damaged equipment.
  • Ongoing inventory updates:
  • Adding new stock to the inventory, ensuring it is flight cased and packaged with suitable cables/accessories. 
  • Quarantining damaged equipment and checking how this affects future orders.  Liaising with the bookings team to arrange replacements as necessary.
  • Maintain & develop the barcode system to ensure all stock is accounted for.
  • Stock Audit schedule followed to ensure accurate stockfile
  • Check all delivery notes thoroughly before each job and point out any omissions or mistakes to the bookings team. 
  • Check stock availability in advance of each event.
  • Create Schedules and plans for RMS modules, ensuring regularly checked and updated. Stock check, Testing and inspection, Quarantine
  • Ongoing warehouse improvements to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Work on new ways to support the efficiency of the delivery team so we get the jobs done to the highest standard in the fastest time.
  • Support the other areas of the team where necessary, occasionally providing onsite support and supporting the delivery team.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients where required.
